I think of design as the blueprint to creative works. I find that design is not the finished product of a creation but ideas to add on for finished works. They can be thrown out easily because they are not finished they are just works in progress art. These are common in the world of art as not everything is always set and ready to be made. There is a lot trial and error that comes to making something desirable and artistic so we rely on designs to help guide us in the right direction. For example, creating a website, we may have a general idea of what we want to do so we would begin to create one, but what we have may not have been what we vision so it is easily adjustable. Design is basically planning and planning is important in the world of art. I think design is one of the most important parts in terms of creation. Without it we wouldn’t know how things would function making any creative work unrefined.
